Rachell Malamed APRN

Rachell Malamed is a Family Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in pediatrics. Having worked in a neonatal intensive care, pediatric intensive care, adult intensive care and an adult/pediatric emergency department she has cultivated a profound passion for pediatric care.

Embarking on her healthcare journey, she began her professional education by obtaining her RN license and was employed as a critical care registered nurse working with pediatrics and adults in critical settings for 8 years, then continued her professional education by advancing her profession to an MSN in pursuit of her advanced practice family nurse practitioner degree at Walden University. She completed her pediatric clinical rotations on the Big Island.

She is dedicated to patient care, employs evidence-base practices, offering holistic assessments and personalized treatment plans. Advocacy is at the core of her practice, ensuring patients receive quality healthcare and empathetic support. She strives to make a positive impact, embodying the essence of a compassionate and competent nurse practitioner.

Balancing her role as a nurse practitioner, she finds joy in diverse hobbies. Whether immersed in a captivating book, exploring nature through ocean swimming, and engaging with her two children and husband, these pursuits enhance her well-rounded approach to life. She looks forward to providing care to the community as a full time provider at Paniolo Pediatrics.
